School Nurses Supporting Behavioral Health

School nurses attending this ECHO series will increase their awareness of behavioral health concerns that commonly emerge in school settings. They will be able to identify warning signs and red flags that indicate students need additional behavioral health supports. They will learn the next steps, and how to coordinate with the multi-disciplinary school team to assess the student and to create individual supports in school. Additionally, participants will learn resources for referral and tips for coordinating outside behavioral health interventions.  This series focuses on school-aged students.
