ECHO Colorado, in partnership with the Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect, offers primary care providers (MD, DO, NP, and PA) in Colorado an ECHO series on pediatric sexual abuse assessments in primary care
Upon completion participants will be able to:
1. Evaluate the signs and symptoms of sexual abuse in pediatric patients
2. Determine what, if any, appropriate follow up testing is needed for patients presenting with signs and symptoms of sexual abuse.
3. Refer patients with signs and symptoms of sexual abuse to appropriate care services
4. Apply best practices to report suspected sexual abuse
