Series meets Wednesdays (weekly) from 7:30 am to 8:30 am MST.
Dentists and dental hygienists across Colorado have been practicing at the top of their scope by using innovative partnerships to reach undeserved areas in order to improve access to quality oral health care and chronic disease prevention and management. In this series you'll learn from your colleagues and peers about successful oral health collaborations. The series will focus on the implementation aspects of these relationships including sustainability models, measures of success, and solutions to barriers.
The goal of this series is to increase the level of collaboration between dentists and hygienists in Colorado in order to a) increase utilization of the Dental Practice Act and b) to increase the level of awareness of community-based programs for chronic disease prevention and management -- especially in areas in the state that are suffering from a dearth of oral health services.
(PENDING) CE: This continuing education activity is jointly provided by the National Network of Oral Health Access. ADA CERP Continuing Dental Education credits will be available to all participants (DDS and RDH).
