Advanced Diabetes Care Management for School Nurses

Series meets Wednesday (Weekly) from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM MST


Provide an advanced educational framework to support Colorado school nurses, so that they will demonstrate expanded core knowledge and critical thinking skills related to complex clinical and psychosocial management of diabetes in the school setting.

Children's Hospital Colorado is approved as a provider of Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) by Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This offering for up to 5 nursing contact hours is provided by Children's Hospital Colorado. 

NCPD certificate of attendance is contingent upon registration, attendance of at least 4 of the 5 sessions, and submission of all evaluation surveys, which include a written response to questions related to any change in practice that you may make as a result of learning that took place at this activity. Claim only those hours you attend.
